Stockholm Double Century - Not just Epic, but Olympic!

In 1912 South African Rudolph Lewis won the Olympic Time Trial over 320 km. You have now the opportunity to follow his tracks around the beautiful Lake Mälaren in the 100 year jubilee ride. Start and finish in Stockholm.

The distance is 333 km or 207 miles. The start takes place early Saturday morning on 11 August 2012 at 06.00 at Welcome Hotel in Barkarby. Race Secretariat open from 05.00.

This event is done as a randonneur brevet, which means that the route is not marked and you go by a cue sheet or join one of three groups with road captains. The groups have an average speed of 22.5 kph, 25+ kph and 30+ kph respectively. You do the conversion into mph (!)

If you can match your speed against the 1912 Olympic winner at 10h 42 min you will receive the Rudolph Lewis Award.
